We are looking for a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our fast-paced accounting team.
The ideal candidate must have full cycle, high volume invoice processing experience, and proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. They should also show strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. This position will play a crucial role in the management of our company's general ledger and will be entrusted with the complete oversight of the accounts payable process.
Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle accounts payable tasks including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
Accurately verify, code and post invoices into the ERP system in a timely manner.
Ensure all invoices and expense reports are approved properly and accurately.
Prepare and perform check runs, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in invoices and communicate issues properly.
Maintain vendor relationships and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
Assist in monthly close processes and reconciliations of payable reports.
Complete credit application for new vendors and maintain vendor files.
Participate in the development and implementation of new systems and procedures.
Prepare analysis of accounts when required.
Ensure strict confidentiality and protection of sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable position.
Prior experience in high volume invoice processing.
Solid experience with ERP systems.
An exceptional eye for detail and a dedication to accuracy.
Advanced abilities in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records.
Ability to effortlessly comply with company accounting procedures.
