Duration: Full-Time

Pay Range: $22-26 p/hr

Overview:

Risus is hiring an Account Payable Specialist to join one of our largest clients, a leading provider of Sustainable Packaging Solutions. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be directly responsible for the overall operation, coordination, and continuous improvement of the Accounts Payable and Payment Functions. This is a full-time, Direct-hire role, and will report to our on-site location in Clearwater Florida.

Job Functions & Responsibilities may Include:

• Summarize and report daily activity.
• Process invoices and purchase orders and reconcile payments
• Day-to-day verification and recording of vendor invoices
• Direct communication with vendors on billing issues, payments, etc.
• Cross-functional communication with various departments
• Assist in preparing reports for month-end Accounting close.
• Review, code, and post AP Invoices
• File AP Transaction records.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the Accounts Payable process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
