Accounts Payable Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill an Accounts Payable Manager role for a fast-growing global client located east of Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detailed with the ability to oversee the accurate and timely processing, tracking, and recording of payments. This senior-level role will have a significant daily impact on financial transactions and will play a critical role in the future growth of the company.

Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities:

• Code invoices, establish new vendors, and maintain vendor master data.
• Develop guidelines for invoice handling and coding to uphold general ledger expense accounts and inventory records.
• Oversee cash flow reports to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Analyze expense reports and invoices for accuracy and eligibility.
• Verify payments through detailed review of checks and vouchers.
• Reconcile accounts payable totals and general ledger entries.
• Maintain accurate records for tax preparation and audits.
• Manage the 1099 filing process, including collection of employer identification numbers.
• Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records for audit readiness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications desired:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• ERP experience is preferred
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred, with the ability to lead and motivate staff.
