My sports writing class taught by Seattle Times columnist Jerry Brewer produced a website called UWHuskyFever.com and it's all about the 2012 Washington softball team.
I was assigned to write an in-depth feature on the legacy of the program -- where it started, what it went through, where it is now. After conducting over 15 interviews and doing a bunch of research, I came out with a 7,000-word feature that details the life of the program.
