    Abstract:
Based on the foundation of color theory, the symbolism and human emotions commonly attached to color, and how these factors can directly influence business branding, we developed a framework to aid web designers in the process of selecting and optimizing color scheme for websites and web applications, avoid common pitfalls that drive customers away, and stand out in today’s fiercely competitive Internet marketplace. Then, we conducted an empirical study to demonstrate and evaluate the effectiveness of the framework. The control group was evaluated based only off their personal knowledge, while the experimental group was introduced to the web color framework before being evaluated. We concluded with overall positive results in favor of the framework.

Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR)

In this research, we explored how DRM, piracy, and anti-piracy legislation has changed throughout the years, how customers feel about current DRM usage, and finally how company image and revenue is affected. Based off our findings, we concluded with a recommended course of action for the industry in order to adapt to this rapidly changing media market.

  • Personal Blog - Analogy Advisor

    -

I challenged myself to host, write, and run a blog for 6 months. In the process, I learned about content marketing, SEO optimization, social media, and creative writing. The blog itself was ultimately a failure but was a necessary undertaking to get out of my comfort zone and create content publicly. Later I transitioned to writing for medium in the Partner Program.

  • 1st Place - Business Systems Analysis, IT Competition 2014

    -

Placed first against USC in a business systems analysis case. The current state of an e-commerce company's big data project was in peril. Mismanagement led to privacy concerns and inaccurate forecasting which resulted in tangible and intangible losses. As consultants, we were tasked with presenting a proposal with a solution to their issues.
