As a part of the Provost's Student Advisory Council I assist in: - Advise Senior Vice President and Provost, Mary Ann Rankin, on matters concerning academic policy. - Attend multiple meetings throughout the semester to discuss possible bill implementations for the variety of academic policies.

- Handle social media accounts as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook - Live coverage through these outlets during networking and communication events - Create event pages and flyers for upcoming events

Treasurer: September 2016 - Present - Keep financial records of the organization. - Represent UCA at SGA budget meetings. - Prepare budget requests for funds. Event Planner: Fall 2015 - Spring 2016 -Plan networking events for students of all majors, but more focused towards communication majors. -Plan outreach fundraisers to raise money for the organization with multiple stakeholders. -Volunteer at events that the career center hosts for communication majors.

-Talk to prospective College Park Scholars at Open Houses about the program. -Volunteer as a community service worker at S.O.M.E. (So Others May Eat) in the Washington D.C. area. -Participate in activities that focus on how society is affected by the media; field trip to the Newseum, guest discussions in the colloquium course.
