The updated wage transparency provision of the Washington State Equal Pay and Opportunities Act went into effect on January 1, 2023. The act now requires that employers in Washington state with 15 or more employees disclose the salary or wage range as well as a general description of all of the benefits and other compensation in job postings for positions located in Washington state.
