Are CMOs SOL? In recent years we've seen big brands like Starbucks and J&J rethink their CMO positions entirely, so is this role on its way out? According to @Fast Company, this position once known for it's long term vision for brand identities is now being challenged to help support short term success with profits being the priority for the majority of companies right now. In her role, Talia works across business units to collaborate, writing clear and concise messaging that supports all of the client’s initiatives and programs. Her responsibilities expand to public relations and crisis communication, where she ensures communications are technically accurate and reflect the brand values, mission and voice. Talia doesn’t stop there. She handles speechwriting, presentation development, video creation and corporate event communications. According to @Indeed, hiring managers are trending towards hiring candidates with specific skills in lieu of looking at years of experience.
