ICYMI: OSHA has released a new draft rule that would impose certain requirements when the heat index reaches 80⁰F. As always, American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) has some great info on the proposed rule.

We are heartbroken by the passing of this member of the construction community and our thoughts are with his family and his J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. family.
Today we would like to remember Patrick Dispoto (shown below with his son and daughter), one of our family who passed away over the weekend at Seaside Park Beach. Patrick demonstrated incredible bravery while on the beach, Sunday evening (June 23rd). As a thunderstorm was quickly approaching everyone received a warning to get off the beach. After Patrick and his girlfriend got off the beach, Patrick returned to help a group of kids. Sadly, his heroic efforts led to his untimely passing as he was struck by lightning. As we come to terms with this heart-wrenching news, we remember and honor his courage and selflessness. To learn more please visit: https://lnkd.in/ehi-wxSW

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Robert A. Briant Sr. Golf Outing. We were particularly pleased to present the winners with the Chariman’s Cup in honor of our longtime Golf Committee Chairman, Ed Ciel.

This photo, known as "Into the Jaws of Death", is a vivid illustration of the incredible bravery of the soldiers who, 80 years ago today, waded into Hitler's withering defenses in Normandy in order to save the world from tyranny. We are forever indebted to all those who fought and died on this fateful day in 1944.

It was nice to see our members like Atlantic Infra and J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. at the NJUA - New Jersey Utilities Association Conference last week. Great presentations and panel discussions and a wonderful conference. Kudos to NJUA - New Jersey Utilities Association on a great event.
