Chapter III. Day 2. Grit? That’s all I know by Christian Memije Okay, Day 2 We kicked it off with Lynnwood A. Bibbens, who touched on concepts of scaling and self-financing. On the way back home at the airport, I looked up and sure enough, I saw his company, https://reachtv.com/, on the corner of the screen. I loved his concept of making every Friday an innovation day. I envision a future where TRAPNSTUDIO adopts that practice: innovation, constantly pursuing new products and ideas. He mentioned grit. Grit is: Grit (oldest origin): Small, loose particles of stone or sand. Grit (modern): Courage and resolve; strength of character. Do I have grit? I know nothing else. From a young age, I was dealing with real grit, working outside in construction with my father, either at home or on jobs on weekends. It's like life didn't polish me; it made me gritty. I've been working. The same grit that continues to help me push past adversities will help TRAPNSTUDIO be successful. It will be done. Join us. I was able to observe what a highly performing human looks like by observing Bibbens. Thank God for the role models on the planet. Mr. Bibbens will be receiving a business plan from me. Mark my words. He also provided a great reminder to be aggressive and to have numbers ready to go. He mentioned a good question to ask others when pitching my business: "What do you think my business is about?" to ensure the communication is clear. Will do. Another point he made was about how long $1 stays within various ethnic communities. That example made things simple: if I want to help my people, just pay my people.

Chapter II. Reflecting on Our Role in Conversations by Christian Memije Day 1 was full of AI conversations. After Day 1, I looked over to Artagus and told him, "Vibecue is non-Artificial Intelligence; it's based on real human intelligence." A conversation on APIs and SDKs was a good reminder that Vibecue is a platform. The idea is not to create an app but rather a platform others can use since Vibecue is not hitting one single use case; there are countless use cases. One talk by Chad Gerber was about leveraging VR to bring fans into the creation experience of an artist. That was dope. However, I am an advocate for the fan. As a fan, yes, I can enjoy the experience from across the world. But there is a reason I don't just stay home and listen to or watch streams or concerts; I also attend events in person. We are social creatures, and music is enjoyed better with other fans. It can be appreciated solo, and there is a time for that, like when I go cruising, but nothing beats vibing with other fans who also appreciate the vibes. That is what Vibecue is about. A long-term vision we have for Vibecue is to facilitate the creation of pop-up fan gatherings across the world. Imagine you travel across the world to see a concert and can connect with other fans seamlessly before or after the concert. We will get there. TRAPNSTUDIO IS BY A FAN FOR THE FANS.

Chapter I. Day One, Valuable Learnings My name is Christian Memije, Founder & CEO of TRAPNSTUDIO, a company at the intersection of music, technology, and, most importantly, human connection. Along with DJ Vegas Tagus (Artagus Ashford), a DJ and partner for Vibecue (https://vibecue.app), a platform TRAPNSTUDIO is building to bridge the gap between the audience and music providers, I attended the Music & Tech Conference in Miami (https://lnkd.in/e8uQFD5p). Here are the notes I took from the conference. On day 1, I learned about the BBL Drizzy Creator, King Willonius (https://lnkd.in/esXtiCZq). The takeaway was that even though AI helped create the song, like software, it still requires a lot of prompting, tweaking, and, most importantly, human taste. Before I continue, I want to clarify something about AI. AI has existed for some time. Most of society is experiencing a phenomenon similar to the one described in the opening scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey. For those who haven't seen it, it’s a scene where a group of early humans wake up one day to find a monolith, a giant rectangular object, standing in the middle; the apes are scared, amazed, and curious, almost like O_O. That is what is currently happening. Anyway, let me get back to it. Then I heard from Charles Dye, a professor at FIU. He mentioned that surprises create great user experiences and urged us to dare to suck, dare to be wrong, and dare to fail. I learned about https://udio.com and https://suno.com, platforms that leverage AI models to generate music. I was reminded that Rick Rubin cannot play music; I can definitely relate to that. The important thing is that people pay for his taste. Many DJs don't create their music; they happen to have good music taste. But I also want to make this point: just as the DJ or the artist has good music taste, the audience members have just as good or even better music taste. That is what Vibecue is about. If the DJ can play good music and the audience is rocking with it, it means the collective audience also has music taste and can offer suggestions that the DJ might not be aware of. I also learned about the following companies we could potentially collaborate with: https://konvoy.vc https://crush.ventures https://umusiclift.com https://lnkd.in/eM9GEWUw https://lnkd.in/eZ-_S6j9
