We are incredibly excited to announce that our client The Genius Brand is now available at over 2,000 Walmart stores nationwide! They have been an incredible client at The Uptown Agency and we could not be more excited for the continued growth of this incredible brand.

A little history behind The Uptown Agency and its origins. Our CEO, Joseph Alexander, shares his journey from then to now and continues to lead our team to greater success and new heights!

After spending a little over a decade in the United States Army, working in advanced logistics, Chris entered the industry in 2015. Since then, he’s worked for a wide range of agencies from boutique-sized to global, accumulating expertise across most industries and brand sizes. Chris joined RBA in 2021 as a Media Director to plan and direct integrated media plans across digital display, search, social media, broadcast, print, and out-of-home advertising. Chris is now looking forward to continuing his media expertise and crushing competitors with The Uptown Agency.

Exciting news! After 8 amazing years, I am thrilled to share that RBA will be joining forces with The Uptown Agency. As I reflect on the journey over the past 8 years, I'm deeply grateful to my team, partners, and clients for their support. We've achieved some remarkable milestones, including dozens of prestigious creative awards, multiple Best Places To Work awards, and making the Inc 5000. Even more meaningful - we've built relationships with colleagues and clients that transcend work and which I believe will last a lifetime. Leading RBA has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, filled with challenges, learning, and growth. And that's why I'm so excited to pass the torch on to Joseph Alexander and his team at The Uptown Agency. Joseph and I immediately clicked based on our likeminded focus on client obsessed culture - and I know that our team and our clients will continue to flourish under his leadership. We want to introduce you to Emily Smith at The Uptown Agency - she is one of the best account executives in the marketing and advertising industry. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising, Emily has honed her skills in client service, and account and project management. Initially, a long-time client of RBA while working in-house at a global real estate services company, she then joined RBA in 2020 to manage accounts and client service. She is thrilled to be part of this next chapter joining forces with The Uptown Agency. Emily's background ranges from design to project management, equipping her to effectively oversee cross-functional teams and offer unique insights that enhance client satisfaction. She's excited to leverage our newly expanded pool of resources to surpass our clients' marketing goals. Outside of work, Emily is a self-proclaimed foodie and wine enthusiast, always eager to explore new restaurants - especially if it provides an excuse to travel. When not exploring, she's home in Dallas with her pup Marshall.
