The 13-story, flatiron development offers 115 quality affordable housing options to residences earning up to 30% and 50% Area Median Income (AMI). “Breaking ground on Emblem is a resounding win for affordable housing in Washington D.C.,” said Chris Marshall, Vice President of Development at The NRP Group. “Together with our dedicated partners, NRP and MHCDO have set the standard for bringing deeply affordable housing to a high-profile, high-opportunity neighborhood. Emblem has been designed to provide housing for the District’s working professionals, particularly service and hospitality professionals who might otherwise endure long commutes from home to work. The City of New Rochelle’s support throughout the entire development and construction process of The Renaissance at Lincoln Park and the neighboring Boys and Girl’s Club was essential to the successful execution of the project. Employee Spotlight: Meet Daniel Kampman, CPA, Manager of Tax Credits and Financial Analysis in the Cleveland office! Daniel joined the NRP team in 2020 as a Senior Property Management Account and has since been promoted three times in his four year career. He and his team of four analysts are responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial analysis and project management assistance of all of NRP's Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments from financial closing through lease-up.
