We are proud to introduce our Global Talent Development Programs, “Mirai” a strategic initiative designed to cultivate our associates’ potential. “Mirai”, the Japanese word for ‘Future’ or ‘Future oriented’, programs are purposely designed to unite our emerging leaders from diverse Terumo divisions and locations. We encourage the participants at various organizational levels to venture beyond their comfort zones, introspect on their leadership approaches, and engage in transformative projects that steer Terumo towards a promising future. ✅ Mirai for Executives Designed for senior leaders to enhance their strategic leadership while stretching them to innovate to write the future of healthcare and of Terumo. We congratulate our 2 cohorts of 48 participants who completed this Program. ✅ Mirai for Enterprise Leaders Allows our upcoming business and functional leaders to expand their leadership skills beyond their current expertise, while challenging them to bring practical and innovating solutions to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness in various areas. We are happy to share that our first Generation of 24 participants have just graduated. ✅ Mirai for Emerging Talents Provides our individual contributors at the start of their career opportunities to discover leadership fundamentals, understand Terumo’s global and diverse reach in the healthcare industry and increase their learning agility through individual stretch projects. We are now in the third edition of this annual program, with 81 participants. Through its Mirai and entity-specific development programs, Terumo is committed to develop our associates across the world, allowing them to thrive and contribute effectively to the company’s mission. #Mirai #TalentDevelopment #career Hajime Numata Stephanie St. George Wim Van Meerbeeck

This is a “we-are-so-proud, nothing-but-gratitude” post. Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies reposted this
The team at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies Larne were delighted to host students from local schools recently. It was a great opportunity to explain our business and the #STEM career options available both locally and further afield. Many thanks to Aimee Stirling for arranging the visits and facilitating discussions with the students and to Darren Mitchell and his production team for hosting tours and talking through the range of roles within our #Larne #manufacturing site.
Students see ‘behind the scenes’ of major employers in the Borough Three major companies in the Borough have been busy over the past number of weeks welcoming groups of students from #Larne High School and Larne Grammar School to see behind the scenes and learn more about career opportunities and pathways at each company. Larne based companies Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies Ltd. and Teva, alongside Carrickfergus based company Ryobi Aluminum Casting (UK) Ltd., welcomed students who were studying a variety of subjects including A-Level Engineering and Business Studies. During the visits, the students had the opportunity to learn more about what makes each uniquely different company work and the vast global scale of each. The tour of the plants included an insight into product development, research and development, manufacturing, business development and quality assessment. The tours were organised through the engagement activities as part of the wider Science Summer School initiative, spearheaded by Professor Brian Cox CBE, OBE, FRS. The visits allowed students to directly engage with key employers in the area, helping to support future skills needs and providing an opportunity for companies to help drive recruitment into their sector. Company engagement with schools is important to ensure there is a pipeline of essential skills for future career opportunities for the wider Borough and Northern Ireland.
