Announcing the program lineup for the 2024 Sundance Film Festival: Asia in Taipei on 21-25 August! With ten specially curated feature films from the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the program is full of international titles from Europe, Asia, the United States, and South America. The Festival kicks-off with opening film DIDI (弟弟) and others include GOOD ONE, KNEECAP, LITTLE DEATH, SUJO, THELMA, and YOUR MONSTER. Documentary features include PORCELAIN WAR, A NEW KIND OF WILDERNESS, and THE REMARKABLE LIFE OF IBELIN. Introducing the 2024 Sally Menke Fellow, Troy Lewis! 🎉 The Chicago–based artist started his year in Park City, Utah, at the Sundance Film Festival celebrating the premiere of DAUGHTERS, which he was the editor and co-writer of. That documentary went on to win the Audience Documentary Award and the Festival Favorite Award, and will be debuting on Netflix in August. For 14 years, Sundance Institute has been celebrating the remarkable career and legacy of editor Sally Menke through the Sally Menke Memorial Editing Fellowship.
