Our Young Professionals Program Kick-Off Event took place a month ago, and today we'd like to give you a look behind the scenes! Learning projects are a central component of the YouPro Program. These projects serve to gain experience in the field of project management. A great opportunity for the YouPros to learn and reflect on their own approach to projects. The YouPros are delighted to have successfully completed the two-day workshops on project management, in which all four project groups took part. Thanks to Stephan Labrenz, M.Sc. and Matt Beadle from the ime Institut für Management-Entwicklung for the training and insights on project management. All projects have got off to a successful start and the teams are working very hard on their tasks. A big thank you to everyone involved for their commitment and enthusiasm. Together we are shaping the future!

Our European managers gathered in Hanover for the 2nd module of STOCKMEIER Chemicals' Leadership Development Program, and it was an unforgettable experience! For two and a half days, we came together for intense learning, collaboration, and networking. The event kicked off with a keynote presentation by our Chemicals Board members, Arthur Jaunich, Matthias Vogt, and Uwe Damrau, who shared our company's current strategy and developments. But it wasn't just about presentations - it was about taking action! Our managers were divided into small groups to share their personal experiences and take away practical insights for their own leadership journeys. The plenary sessions were filled with lively debates and cross-functional discussions. A highlight of the event was a workshop on our STOCKMEIER Leadership Principles, where participants worked in teams to discuss "daily actions" and how to bring these principles to life in their areas of responsibility. But it wasn´t all work! Our team-building activities, including a cooking experience and dragon boat racing on Lake Maschsee, allowed participants to bond and build lasting relationships. This program is a shining example of what can be achieved when we come together to learn, grow, and support one another. Young Professionals Program: Last week, we kicked off our 24-month Development Program for Young Professionals – and what a start it was!😍 Last week, we welcomed our international group of 18 Young Professionals from Poland, Italy, Spain, France, Hungary and Germany to our 24-month development program in Düsseldorf. The kick-off was about to get to know each other, to network and to define the learning projects for the next 12 months. The special international spirit was immediately noticeable. The participants share a high level of passion, enthusiasm and motivation. One participant shared their thoughts: "I have already noticed a personal development through the kick-off. I'm normally an introverted person. However, the great group dynamic has helped me to be more open. It took me out of my comfort zone. I'm proud of that." The kick-off event provided a glimpse of what the Young Professionals can expect: building networks, working in an international team, acquiring practical knowledge, identifying their own strengths and taking ownership of various learning projects. 🔜 Next up for the YouPros is a project management training in July. AOK Firmenlauf Herford: Bei Sonnenschein um den Wall 🏃♂️🏃♀️ 17 Läuferinnen und Läufer aus der STOCKMEIER Gruppe nahmen beim AOK Firmenlauf in Herford teil. Dabei waren Kolleginnen und Kollegen von den Standorten Herford, Lemgo und Bielefeld mit von der Partie. Die Regenwolken hatten sich rechtzeitig verzogen als beim AOK Firmenlauf in Herford um 19 Uhr der Startschuss fiel. Mit über 2.000 Aktiven war die Beteiligung bei diesem Lauf so hoch wie noch nie. Für die STOCKMEIER Gruppe traten 17 Läuferinnen und Läufer aus Herford, Lemgo und Bielefeld mit an. Die 5 km lange Strecke führte vom Herforder Rathausplatz über den Wall um die Innenstadt herum zurück zum Münsterkirchplatz. Besonders zum Start war das Gedränge groß. Dann fanden aber alle unsere Läufer und Walker ihr Tempo und kamen gut gelaunt ins Ziel. Dort gab es zur Belohnung eine Medaille, alkoholfreies Bier, Bananen und Energieriegel. Die STOCKMEIER Gruppe ließ den Laufabend gemeinsam bei den letzten Sonnenstrahlen am STOCKMEIER Pavillon ausklingen. Der nächste Lauf findet am 28. August in Bielefeld statt. Diverse and international: our young professionals from the STOCKMEIER Group! As part of the "YouPro" (Young Professionals) programme, young professionals are supported in their personal development within the company. The programme is about building bridges together, learning together and building an international network. The programme is divided into a training phase and an individual development phase, each lasting 12 months. During the training phase, the YouPros will work on various projects. After 12 months, the project results are presented at a final event. In total, this year's YouPro group consists of 7 male and 11 female colleagues from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Hungary. At the start of the programme, the managers of the young professionals will be invited to an onboarding event in order to get to know the framework conditions and to provide the YouPros with the best possible support on their way through the programme. In July, the programme itself will start for the young professionals with a big kick-off event in Düsseldorf. Bielefeld/Zwolle – STOCKMEIER is excited to welcome a new member in the Group: Vesta Chemicals B.V., located in Zwolle, Netherlands. The family-owned company with headquarters in Bielefeld has taken over the majority of shares in the distribution company for specialty chemicals with retroactive effect from 1st of January 2024. Vesta Chemicals is a distributor for fine chemicals & Intermediates and specialty chemicals established 1988 in the city of Zwolle. They supply polymerization initiators, organic peroxides and a vast number of organic catalysts and special intermediates to customers producing powder coatings, alkyd resins, polyurethane, epoxy resins, plastics and elastomers, construction chemicals and fragrances in more than 26 European countries and North America. With their own Reach registrations, high standard European ADR warehouses and diversified global supplier base, Vesta can satisfy the needs of their European clients. The Vesta portfolio is fully complementary to Innochem N.V. in Meerhout, Belgium, STOCKMEIER’s center of excellence for fine chemicals and intermediates as well to STOCKMEIER’s business units for specialty chemicals across Europe. Merger of Grauchem Sp. z o. o and STOCKMEIER Chemia Sp. z o. o in Poland – Further growth of Specialty Chemicals 🧪 We are pleased to announce that we have founded a new Business Unit for CASE (Coatings, Adhesive, Sealants, Elastomers) in Poland with the merger of Grauchem Sp. z o. o based in Oswiecim and STOCKMEIER Chemia Sp. z o. o. The new Business Unit is operating out of the previous headquarter of Grauchem in Oswiecim. In addition, the team will fully use the infrastructure of STOCKMEIER Chemia with warehouses in Poznan, Gdansk and Sarzyna. The team of five people is dedicated to specialty chemicals for the market segments of Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, Construction and Sealants. Grauchem is very well known in the market since 2015 with high standard of service level and technical market expertise. The founder of Grauchem Mr. Przemyslaw Osadczuk will lead the new established Business Unit CASE in cooperation with the Managing Director of STOCKMEIER Chemia Radoslaw Urbanski, with a strong connection to the European STOCKMEIER Coatings division.
