🎉 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of StandardAero supporting the famed Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turboprop family! Back in 1964, Dallas Airmotive (acquired by StandardAero in 2021) became the first independent MRO provider to enter into a sales, service, and distribution agreement with United Aircraft of Canada (now P&WC) for the PT6A, which had received Canadian and U.S. certification approval the prior year. Today, StandardAero supports the PT6A from four overhaul facilities and 11 service centers worldwide, as a PT6A Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) with distribution rights on certain engine models. 📰 Read the full press release: https://ow.ly/unEg50SHlW0 #PT6A #MRO #Turboprop
