We are hiring a Senior Designer/Assistant to Director of Design! Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer/Assistant to Design Director at Spire Design & Construction located in Denver, CO. As a Senior Interior Designer/Assistant to Design Director, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to interior design projects and assisting the Director with leading the design team. Your role will involve collaborating with the design team, conducting client meetings, creating design concepts, developing detailed plans, selecting materials, coordinating with contractors, assisting the Director with scheduling of design projects and overseeing the successful execution of projects. This position requires strong design skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work with and report directly to the Director of Design as well as the President/CEO of Spire Design Studio.   Qualifications: Associate's degree (or higher) in Interior Design Proven experience in interior design, with a focus on Model Home Merchandising and Multi-family commercial/amenity spaces 3-5+ years experience in FF&E selections Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Microsoft suite programs such as Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel Strong understanding of space planning principles and overall good sense of design Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment as well as individually Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines Experience in project management and leadership roles is a plus Carries a positive attitude, and an 'always willing to help' mentality Ability to lift, carry and work longer hours on your feet during project installations Travel up to 15% as needed for project walks and installations Must currently live in the United States, have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation   Spire Design Studio offers benefits such as: Medical and Dental Insurance, Paid vacation time off, 11+ Holiday pay annually, personal use of travel benefits and reward programs, Mileage re-imbursement, Casual office environment, Pet-friendly office and potential for yearly bonuses and incentives.   Only qualified applicants need apply. INTERIOR DESIGNER (Commercial focused) Job Description: Highly motivated interior designer with min. 3 years experience in the multi-family apartment industry. Developing & managing project budgets, strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task on different projects at one time, work closely with Construction Project Managers and Design Director on design development and production, strong FF&E design selection process focusing on correct scale, style & function. Ability to create and produce captivating design concepts, strong space planning capabilities using AutoCAD drafting program. Additional required skills: Microsoft office systems including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Photoshop and SketchUp a plus. Willingness to travel for projects as needed.
