Congratulations are in order for Taysha Gosnell. 👏🏼 She was recently promoted to Financial Service Manager at our Patewood Drive location in Greenville. This is the first promotion for Taysha, who joined our team as a Financial Service Representative in April 2023. Financial Center Manager Amanda Rambeaut says that Taysha is She is " a huge asset to the credit union" and exemplifies our core value of teamwork. She is kind, patient, adaptable, and a quick learner with an exceptional attention to detail. Taysha carries herself with professionalism and maintains a positive attitude in all situations, and she is always willing to help her team and her members. She has also been eager to become involved in more than just her day-to-day responsibilities; she is an active member of our brand ambassador group and our DEI Council. A motivated self-starter, Taysha knew that she wanted to work toward this role from the day she started employment at South Carolina Federal. Congratulations to Training Specialist Carrie Lewis, CUDE, who recently earned her CUDE Certification. The Credit Union Development Education (DE) Program is the signature program of the National Credit Union Foundation. It is a transformative and experiential training that builds awareness of the development issues that prevent people from achieving financial freedom and how credit unions are uniquely positioned to address them. During the week-long program, emerging leaders are involved in group exercises, field visits, and interactive speaker sessions centered around how credit unions may leverage their unique business model to serve members and communities in new and better ways. Since 1982, nearly 2,000 credit union advocates from over 35 countries have attended the U.S. DE Training to earn their CUDE™ designation. "Attending DE was the most impactful, eye-opening experience I have ever had. I was able to really examine the hardships that so many people are face in a world where a financially healthy future seems unattainable for many," Carrie shared. "I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn how I - and every person in the credit union movement - can find new ways to meet these needs and help to achieve financial well-being for all." #lifeatSCFederal #CUlead #PassionWanted
