  • We are deeply grateful for the generous support of the La Jolla Kawanis! Last Friday, our CEO Tina Rose shared with the Kawanis group about our current need for mentors, and received a check from Kawanis representatives, Susan Callahan and Bob Steck, in support of our mentoring programs. A touching moment followed when a Kawanis member shared his heartfelt story of reconnecting with his Little Brother after many years and learning about the incredible impact he had on his life. Thank you, La Jolla Kawanis, for helping us make a difference in the lives of so many young people!  Together, we are building brighter futures. #ThankYou #MentoringMatters #BBBS #CommunitySupport

  • Proud of our life-changing Operation Bigs volunteers!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County celebrated two of their Bigs of the Year, who are part of the agency's Operation Bigs program. This program provides mentoring support to youth from active duty, veteran, and gold star families. When Little Jailynn was matched with her Big Alli through the Operation Bigs program, Alli prioritized Jailynn's interests in outings and consistently offered a listening ear. Not only does Big Alli serve as a mentor, but she also teaches Little Jailynn how to advocate for herself and her needs. Little Madden and Big Anthony's bond has grown stronger every day over the last five years. Big Anthony said: "I've watched the stone-faced boy I met so long ago become a strong, confident, outgoing young man. He has become one of my best friends and truly one of the most cherished people in my life." #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #BeBig 💚
