Today is National Intern Day and we are celebrating the one and only intern Abigail Gonzalez! Abby is a student at University of California, Berkeley and majoring in Chemistry... And this summer she’s a member of the pack on our Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics team. We’ve been inspired by Abby’s drive, desire to learn and explore new areas. We’re lucky to have her! In recognition of today’s World Brain Day, we’re thrilled to share that we raised over $5,000 in our internal silent and live auction for the Epilepsy Foundation – a nonprofit dedicated to the welfare of people with epilepsy and seizure disorders.   Our auction was a success thanks to our Rapptors, who donated items and bid on each other’s donations. Bidding wars ensued over donations like Morgan’s Mac & Cheese (a coveted family recipe), a wine tasting with Brad (our Chief Medical Officer and resident “sommelier”), and 1:1 coaching with Ariel (our Medical Writer who happens to be a certified coach). Aligning such a fun and spirited event with an organization like the Epilepsy Foundation was so fulfilling (as was the Mac & Cheese!). #worldbrainday #auction #epilepsy

A few weeks back, Rapport East and Rapport West united in Boston for team building, bonding, and team Red Sox (all enjoyed the night regardless of team fandom). Getting together as ONE TEAM is something we do our best to make happen twice a year.
