    Over the Ramadan and Raya months, with the invaluable support of Food Aid Foundation we distributed 1,50,000 Raya cookies to over 30 welfare homes and underprivileged communities, adding joy to their celebrations. These delectable treats were lovingly made by home bakers from the People’s Housing Projects (PPR) in Lembah Subang and Seri Pantai as part of the Cadbury Dairy Milk #KuihRayaDariHati campaign. This campaign was an extension of the #MDLZPrihatin initiative wherein we embarked on a long-term partnership with MyKasih Foundation to empower underprivileged families and communities by aiding education, skill development, women empowerment, and entrepreneurship. #MyKasihFoundation #TeamMDLZ

Australia’s iconic lollies, Snakes, will now be available as part of our new range, which contains 50% less sugar compared to the average amount of sugar in leading candy jelly products. This innovative offering reflects The Natural Confectionery Co.’s continued commitment to pioneer healthier options aligned with the growing trend towards lower sugar options, while not compromising on taste. 50% Less Sugar Snakes will be rolling into stores Australia-wide from July 2024, and we can’t wait to hear what you think!

    Our #HealthForLife schools created a fantastic range of colourful barrows for this year’s BBC Gardeners’ World Live event in Birmingham earlier this month. Focusing on the theme of how climate change affects food production 45 schools have researched and planted barrows to display their imaginative ideas. Supported by our partners The Conservation Volunteers and Services For Education we’re proud to have created and funded #HealthForLife Life since 2011, engaging over 250,000 people across Birmingham including 1 in 2 Primary schools.

    As we keep evolving and investing in our global Supply Chain, we do so with our People – which sit at the heart of it all. Earlier in June, we held our first ever MDLZ Plant Leaders Academy, a four-day workshop specifically crafted to develop well rounded E2E business partners leading our manufacturing facilities. Our first cohort took place in Lörrach, Germany - our very own home of Milka chocolate 🍫 – where 32 Plant Leaders from 21 countries came together to learn, network, and share best practices. Over the course of the week, they attended a series of modules on how to Grow the Business, Lead the Future, and Inspire others to Action. Moreover, the participants had the honor to join panel conversations with our CEO Dirk Van de Put, CFO Luca Zaramella, CPO Stephanie Lilak, EU President Vinzenz Gruber and many other senior stakeholders from within #TeamMDLZ. As we continue our growth journey towards our Vision2030, we recognize the Plant Leader as one of the most important roles in our organization.
