Today, Monday, July 8th is National "Be A Kid Again Day” – a day to honor the benefits adults get from acting like a kid again! The Museum is not just a place for children to play on their own – it’s an immersive and interactive experience for the whole family. Take a break from “being an adult” this summer and unleash your inner child with a day of play. There’s no better way to have fun together, create lasting memories, and leave your adult worries behind. As our Chairman of the Board says, “it’s never too late to have a happy childhood!” #BeAKidAgainDay

About us
The mission of Miami Children's Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational institution, is to enrich the lives of children by fostering a love of learning through play and enabling children to realize their highest potential. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play, learn, imagine, and create together. The Museum is dedicated to meeting the needs of all children in our multicultural community through interactive exhibits and programs. Miami Children’s Museum was incorporated as the Miami Youth Museum in 1983. In 2003, the Museum opened its current home, a 56,500 square foot facility in the City of Miami. Today, we are recognized as one of the 10 largest children's museums in the country and the only children’s museum in Miami-Dade County. The Museum provides hands-on interactive educational experiences to approximately 445,000 children and their families each year. We aim to serve all children and families who live in South Florida, embracing the diversity of our community. The Museum is also a major attraction for tourists coming to South Florida.

We are thrilled to announce that our 14th Annual Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash will be chaired by Amanda Pizarro and Andy Rodriguez! Amanda and Andy are the co-founders of The Salty Donut, a donut & coffee shop that has garnered national acclaim for pushing the boundaries of traditional donut-making and creating a unique, memorable experience for its customers. In addition to their success with The Salty, which now has 16 stores across 5 states, Amanda has been recognized for her contributions to the culinary industry, earning a spot on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in 2018. As a committed Museum Member and supporter, she understands the vital role our Halloween fundraiser plays in ensuring that the Museum’s programming reaches as many children as possible throughout the year. We are fortunate to have her spearheading this year’s spooktacular event and can’t wait for you to experience the sweet surprises that await you! Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 6th, and stay tuned for more updates… if you dare! For sponsorship opportunities, please email Amanda Goodman at agoodman@miamichildrensmuseum.org

🤝🏻Partnering with mission-minded businesses & brands to redefine foster care & bring hope to kids and families in crisis❤ Fiercely Devoted Wife👨🏼Foster Adoptive Mom👦🏼
“Time, talent and treasure each are vital to nonprofits, said Deborah Spiegelman, CEO of Miami Children's Museum. When building a new relationship, she asks what a prospective partner can provide in one of those areas.” 🤩 I was excited to see this article in the South Florida Business Journal, featuring a round table of local corporate philanthropy experts, discussing how partnerships elevate philanthropic results. The TREASURE, TIME and TALENT philosophy is how 4KIDS builds our corporate partnerships 🙌🏼 4KIDS provides the opportunity for businesses to invest their: 💲Treasure (financial resources) 💪🏼Time (hands-on volunteering) and 💡Talent (skills-based volunteering) Just like companies invest in their employees, growth, infrastructure etc., businesses can invest by coming alongside 4KIDS in the mission of providing hope, homes and healing for kids and families in crisis in their operating communities. 🙌🏻Shout out to Lisa Davis of JM Family Enterprises, Inc.! We are honored to have their partnership as they invest their treasure and time by sponsoring and volunteering at our foster and adoptive family events, and their talent by hosting a cooking class at their headquarters for our young adults aging out of foster care. 🙏🏼 If you're a mission-minded business or brand or looking to grow your social/community impact, please feel free to reach out to me DeannaP@4KIDS.us Let's make a difference!
