Josi Palmer, Marketing Intern Josi is a rising senior at the University of Southern Maine, where she is pursuing a major in Marketing with a double minor in Recreation Leadership and Tourism and Hospitality. As a Marketing intern, Josi will contribute to a variety of projects involving product marketing and community engagement that represent the Martin's Point brand and services. During her internship, Josi’s goals are to apply and enhance her current marketing skills, network and build connections, and receive clarity on the specific direction she wants to take in her career. Emily Erskine, Network Operations Intern Emily will be graduating next year from Husson University in Maine with a bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and Public Health, and a master’s in Business with a concentration in Healthcare Management. As a Networks Operations intern, Emily will be supporting projects that involve provider intake and outreach. During her internship, Emily’s goals are to gain experience working in health care, make connections, and push herself out of her comfort zone. Maddie Tyus, Delivery System Operations Intern Maddie is a rising senior at the University of New England in Maine, where she is pursuing a major in Medical Biology and a minor in Psychology. As a Delivery System Operations intern, Maddie will be involved in projects relating to the various quality improvement initiatives, primarily through supporting teams in obtaining patient records to support holistic patient care. During her internship, Maddie hopes to gain a thorough understanding of the administrative aspects of health care. Brian Ishema, IT Security Intern Brian is a rising senior at the University of Maine in Orono, where he is pursuing a major in Computer Engineering. As an IT Security intern, Brian will be supporting projects relating to the maintenance and security of all the Martin's Point systems, applications, data, and networks. During his internship, Brian hopes to acquire new skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience in cybersecurity. Mia Pardieu, D1L Summer Program Associate Mia is a second-year law student at the University of Maine School of Law, and our first associate to join us as part of the D1L Summer Associate Program ̶ an initiative to build a stronger, more diverse community of legal professionals in Maine. As an associate, Mia will be working with the Compliance and Legal Affairs team supporting legal research and experiencing legal practice in Maine. During her internship, Mia hopes to gain hands-on professional experience and learn more about the career paths available within the field of law. Aliyah Bureau, Network Database Specialist Intern Aliyah is a rising senior at the University of Tampa in Florida, where she is pursuing a major in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Practice, and minors in both Business Administration and Data Analytics. As a Network Database Specialist intern, Aliyah will be supporting strategic projects relating to our provider databases.
