Save the future! In a world where sustainable development is increasingly important, technologies that reduce harmful environmental impact play a key role. Dry DRA is an innovative solution for more efficient crude oil and refined products pipelines. Dry DRA is: ◾ Carrier-free: No toxic carriers means a safer product and reduced carbon emissions. ◾ More transportable: Replacing liquid carriers reduces transportation volume, which decreases transportation costs and emissions. 2.5 times fewer trucks are required to move dry DRA. ◾ More energy efficient: By increasing pipeline efficiency, dry DRA lowers electricity consumption. Choose dry DRA to enhance your transportation process and protect our planet. Let’s move towards a more sustainable future together! #dragreducingagents #DRA #crudeoilpipelines #dragreducers

Operating Crude Oil Pipelines at Lower Costs   The construction of oil pipelines is an expensive and complex process. Engineers work hard to reduce costs and optimize pipeline designs, because every decision counts at scale. Drag Reducing Agents or DRAs are a revolutionary technology that, when added to pipelines, can reduce pipeline costs and optimize design. Let’s take a look at a real-life example.   MPLX announced an increase of its Wood River-to-Patoka expansion pipeline's capacity from 215,000 bpd to 345,000 bpd. They executed this plan by increasing horsepower and adding DRA to their pipelines. The DRA was incorporated into the pipeline sections connecting the old pipes to the new pipes, increasing the capacity of the old pipes for a cost-effective and efficient solution.   DRA allows for more precise calculation of a pipeline’s optimal concentration, injection points, and required pumps. This means the pipeline can be constructed with standard width pipes and less pumping stations to still reach required pumping power. This saves money on construction costs, but also means less maintenance costs for operators, as DRA reduces wear and tear on the pipeline. Visit our page to learn more about HyMotion™ Dry DRA, and learn more about the MPLX expansion pipeline project here (https://lnkd.in/dXFrm-Yw). #flowimprover #DRA #dragreducingagent #crudeoilflow #crudeoiltransportation #crudeoilpipelines
