📦 Another Unergonomic & Painful Task Removed! This industrial palletizer system from FOCUS Integration, Inc. is stacking Half Slotted Cases (HSCs) that contain heavy cleaning products. It can reach stack heights of 108" all day long without breaks or injuries! We're excited for this partnership and to show how fully managed automation will help scale their operation to the next level! 📈 Shout out to Jonathan Rangel (pictured below), Danielle V., and our Deployment Team for the successful installation and to our entire team for delivering another top-notch automation experience to manufacturers. #manufacturing #cpg #chemicals #operations #automation #robotics

Supplying the world with a robot workforce

Thank you Transpose Platform team for having me the their AGM last month, and to Brett Gibson for joining me in a fun conversation. I wanted to share a few highlights from our chat, titled: “AI + Robotics: The Future of U.S. Manufacturing.” 1. Silicon Valley is littered with failed robotics companies that had a great product, a great team, a few proofs of concept and little/no revenue. It is not enough to solve technical challenges if you’re not also solving a core business challenge or need for integrators or end customers. 2. Real data from real production environments is a massive advantage for any robotics company. Our pace of product improvement and speed to deploy is directly correlated to the increasing number of “reps” we’ve had as a business, and this will continue. 3. We are at the precipice of a wave of robotics companies that are building products for a wide array of industries and tasks, but they are operating in very constrained environments. The real world is messy, and getting a proof of concept going is only 20% of the work.

🎉 Happy 4th of July! Today marks the 248th commemoration of the day the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Second Continental Congress. Through the centuries, the US has grown from 13 colonies with about 2.5 million people to 50 states and 14 territories with a population of more than 330 million. The economy has swelled to over $27T. Advances in public health have cut the child mortality rate from over 45% to under 1%, while our citizens live over 35 years longer on average.    Scientific achievements in the US have delivered everything from the light bulb, modern flight, and the internet to air conditioning, movies, and the polio vaccine. More than 2.7 million miles of power lines electrify the country across over 4 million miles of paved roads, with over 90% of households accessing broadband internet. The US has also been responsible for more than 800 human visits to space—the most of any country.   While there will always be challenges to face and improvements to make, we've come a long way since the beginning. So grab a hot dog and your drink of choice—here's to the next 248 years. 🍻 U.S. manufacturing, especially, has a bright future ahead.

🧠 According to a survey by American Bakers Association and ndp | analytics, nearly 70% of commercial bakeries and suppliers have adopted or plan to adopt #AI in their business. We've seen the same trend. 100% of our baking customers are already using AI with our Formic Colony and Formic Core stack. A couple examples: 🔧 AI-based automation monitoring reduces maintenance issues & downtime ⚙ AI-based motion planning and software speeds up #robotic deployments The results? Lower cost solutions and higher production uptime. Thanks to Baking & Snack and our CEO Saman Farid for sharing these insights!
