About us
The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its vision is to bring about a CURE for cholangiocarcinoma, more commonly known as bile-duct cancer, through Collaboration, Understanding, Research and Education. This Foundation was born out of love, and every hour that has gone into it has been volunteered by board members each one having lost a loved one to cholangiocarcinoma or suffering from cholangiocarcinoma and surviving. Many others have volunteered their time and energy to filling a need. Our vision for the foundation expands every day, it is our hope to find a cure and in the meantime to provide support, to advocate for patients and to educate those who do not yet understand.

CCF Science and Medical Advisory Board member emeritus Dr. Nabeel Bardeesy and a team of experts have a cholangiocarcinoma-related study published in Science Magazine. This publication only accepts work that reveals novel concepts of broad importance to the scientific community. It is a big accomplishment, and we are proud of the team for working to accelerate advancements.
