So pleased to share that Scott Belsky is joining Atlassian's Board of Directors on 1 August. Scott brings loads of incredible experience - strategy, product, design, start up, enterprise, VC, software…the list goes on. But the three things I’m most excited about: He’s got Founder DNA, he can do scale (of all kinds) - from start up, to maturity, to enterprise, and he’s deep in AI. Welcome Scott, we’re so glad to have you on the Board!

Thrilled to join the board of Atlassian, and work closely w/ Mike Cannon-Brookes and team. We all know Jira for teamwork, Confluence for knowledge sharing, and Loom for async video, among other Atlassian products, but I am most inspired by the team's vision for breaking down silos and unlocking the potential of every modern team. Team effectiveness is a longstanding interest of mine, and I'm thrilled to join a company devoted to innovation with a bold roadmap for the benefit of high-performing teams.

If you're working remotely or want to save yourself from another meeting, give Loom a try. It's a great way to balance the "realtime-all-the-time". Send video messages to your team to share thoughts, close a decision, brainstorm or present something. In the last few weeks the Loom team released two new features to supercharge your videos with AI: 1️⃣ Live Rewind: Kids walked into the room? or your dog started barking while you’re recording? 🤦🏻♂️ No need to start again, with Live Rewind you can pause, trim, and resume right where you left off recording. Available on our Google Chrome Extension 2️⃣ Edit Video by Transcript: 🎙️ “Umm..” “errr…” “like..” “actually…”. All those filler words: you didn’t think you said them, but when you play the video back there were a lot more than you thought! Don’t worry! You can now easily remove a specific word or sentence by highlighting it in the transcript and deleting it. Your video will update immediately. Yes, AI feels a lot more like ✨ when it comes to video! Check out https://www.loom.com/ai to get Loom or if you've got it, grab the Chrome extension for Live Rewind: https://lnkd.in/gqzFmuDF

Our latest research shows that teams and leaders who use AI regularly collaborate better. ✅ Half of executives (49%) surveyed use AI a few times a week or more. These leaders reported 19% more time to create work with their teams—to truly collaborate with them! ✅ Teams that use AI regularly are nearly 2x as likely to be effective and productive. Atlassian president Anu Bharadwaj explains this journey in a recent LinkedIn Live with Annie Dean, Global Head of Team Anywhere.
