Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA)

The #AMGTA kicked off the week with our 3rd Annual Member Summit in Los Angeles. AMGTA Members gathered to leverage the power of collaboration, connection and a shared vision. Executive Director Sherri Monroe kicked-off the day with the State of the Association and the vision forward: to drive adoption of AM for more sustainable, resource efficient, and economically viable manufacturing, supply chains and operations around the world. Keynote speaker Deirdre Mc Govern of Stryker shared her organization’s journey to commercialize AM to deliver better patient outcomes, economic gains, and drive sustainability. Brian R. Neff of Sintavia recapped AMGTA commissioned research to date with a vision for projects to come. Rosa Coblens 🎗 of Stratasys shared the value of collaborative use-case analysis to drive adoption and broader understanding beyond the AM community. A stellar panel of AM users to discuss commercialization: Stacy Abel, Gerret Lukas, Ellen Lee and Kristin Mulherin Member organizations were recognized in the areas of Environmental Management Systems, Sustainability Research, Sustainability/ESG Reporting, and Excellence in AM Sustainability: Arkema, California Metals, Danish AM Hub , EOS, Höganäs AB, Hubbell Incorporated, IperionX, Materialise, PrintCity MMU, Sandvik, Sintavia, Stratasys, and Tekna (OSE:TEKNA). The AMGTA is focused on engaging the AM sector in understanding and promoting the power of AM to deliver economic and environmental benefits in parallel. At the same time, the AMGTA is also focused on expanding the awareness of the leverage power of AM to the broader manufacturing, industry sectors, and sustainability community to increase understanding and adoption. #additivemanufacturing #sustainability #sustainablemanufacturing
