In 2023, Advize had one payor client alone where we identified over $10 million in overpayments. We are on track to identity a larger amount this year (again, for one particular client). Proactive audits for providers is why this is important. We identified services not rendered, systemic upcoding and everything in between. As an objective review consultancy, we identtify the net overpayments for statistical sampling, commensurate with the CMS PIM. For probe samples, we identify the overpayment for the actual claims and provide the underpayment information to the plan. OIG provides model compliance guidance for a reason; creation of a positive corporate citizenship culture. Our #SIU team identifies overpayments on a regular basis, and many could be negated by a robust self-audit schedule Our OIG/CMS experts can be a positive step towards positive revenue generation (our retired OIG agents, agent supervisors and UPIC directors) understand the areas of concern, and while nothing is “bullet proof” or a guarantee, there are certainly steps that can be undertaken to create the positive compliance culture #healthcarefraud #healthcarecompliance #paymentintegrity #FWA #ahla #hcca
