Meet Hon. Tabitha Ponder, ESQ. Tabitha, who received her B.S. in psychology from Albany State University and a J.D. from Mercer University School of Law, started as an insurance defense attorney and later founded the Ponder Law Group, LLC. Specializing in injury law and real estate, she now serves as a part-time Cobb County Magistrate Court judge and a certified civil/domestic relations mediator and arbitrator. With experience in family law, complex litigation, business law, worker's comp, and liability, she's also a special master for Cobb County Superior Court. Known statewide for her commitment to justice, Judge Ponder serves on the Georgia Judicial Council’s Access to Justice Committee and the new Ad Hoc Committee on Improving Community Access to Legal Resources. She's a member of various legal associations, including the Georgia Bar Association and Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.
