NH Summer 🤝 Adimab Tailgate Howdy, partners 🤠! For last week's social hour, we kicked back in the parking lot and played some cornhole 🌽, tossed the pigskin 🏈, shared stories of our annual summer shutdown, and celebrated being back together in the office. One of our core values is to #CreateFun; what's more fun than grilled hotdogs 🌭 and a coupla cold ones 🍻 with fellow #adimabers?!

Today we'll wrap up our #AdimabersOnShutdown miniseries with a rapid-fire round to highlight some of the other things our adventurous team got up to during our summer shutdown! 🌎 📌 Exploring castles and the countryside of Wales 🏰 📌 Hiking through Glacier National Park and the Colorado Rockies 🗻 📌 A clam bake and camping on the Long Island Sound 🏕 📌 Considering an alternate career as a lighthouse operator on Prince Edward Island 🔦 📌 Journeying through the fjords (and constant daylight) in northern Norway ☀ It was so much fun to relive how #adimabers spent their week off and we hope you enjoyed it, too!

The perfect travel destination doesn’t exist, but this one comes pretty close... Today for #AdimabersOnShutdown, we stay in our beautiful state of NH! Summer is a great season here at home, and there are endless opportunities for adventure 🚵♂️, such as hiking Mt Moosilauke and Mt Cube ⛰, or finding swimming holes on our local rivers and lakes 🏊♂️. Plus, it's great to spend time outdoors with our furry friends 🐕

At last we’re in SPAIN! Who knew proteins needed to be characterized in Catalonia! 😎 #adimabers arrived in Barcelona before traveling to Banyoles. Spending some time in Girona exploring the old city and shopping in the markets, of course tasting all the 🍦 gelato there was to offer. Next they rock climbed 🧗♀️ in Coll Roig in Montgrony before roaming the streets of Puigcerdià in search of chocolate croissants and cappuccinos. ☕ 🥐 They topped off their trip with a trail run up the mountain Bastiments which to their surprise was part of the Spanish and French border meaning they went to the Azores, Spain and France all in one summer shutdown! #AdimabersOnShutdown

Next we travel to the Azores and Spain with two members of our Protein Analytics team! 🔬 In the Azores they explored the island 🏝 of São Miguel. They hiked around the beautiful lakes, then visited and drank tea from the oldest tea 🍵 plantation in Europe. They tried to catch as many sunrises and sunsets 🌅 as they could while still finding time to swim, “surf” 🏄♂️🏄♀️, get a little more than sun-kissed ��🦀 , and relax in thermal pools.
