Now Playing: Harry Potter Quidditch Champions Cinematic Trailer | Summer Game Fest 2024

A trailer for the game featured iconic Harry Potter characters like Harry Potter himself, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and more. Players can also create their own character and try to become a... Quidditch champion. Take a look at the trailer for yourself above.

Quidditch Champions features "iconic wizarding world locations, characters, and references that fans will love," Warner Bros. said. Players can take on the role of a Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker.

There are multiple stages to choose from, including Weasely Burrow all the way to the venue of the Quidditch World Cup. Warner Bros. also announced that people who own Hogwarts Legacy will get the Bonus Legacy Pack, which includes a variety of bonuses.

"Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions gives fans a chance to delve further into the Harry Potter world with the thrill of playing this beloved, fantastical sport," Warner Bros. gaming boss David Haddad said in a release. "The team has worked to capture the spirit of Quidditch, including iconic characters and never-before-seen areas of the wizarding world."

Quidditch Champions was announced in April 2023, and there have been playtests already. It's described as a "fast-paced, online multiplayer game" featuring solo and multiplayer gameplay.

It's the second Harry Potter game in as many years, following 2023's massively successful Hogwarts Legacy. It was 2023's best-selling game overall in the US, even out-selling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Qudditch Champions is developed by Unbroken Studios. Although controversial author J.K. Rowling is not personally involved with its development, she stands to profit from its success.
