Warner Bros. has just formally announced DS sequel Super Scribblenauts.

Details on this second game were leaked in March and they appear to be correct.

Super Scribblenauts is due this autumn and adds adjective modifiers to the noun scene. What's more, multiple adjectives can be used. The press release gives the example of gentlemanly, flying, flaming zombies; and purple, obese, winged elephants.

Developer 5th Cell also promises "upgraded" controls, "more robust" challenges and "redesigned" levels.

Scribblenauts captured imaginations for its potentially limitless gameplay: simply write any word to conjure an object to help solve a puzzle.

The game worked remarkably well, too, although there were a few teething problems. Eurogamer's Scribblenauts review tells all.
