Uncharted 3 patch 1.13 adds new Tournament Mode

Biggest patch ever released by Naughty Dog.

Naughty Dog has announced Uncharted 3 patch 1.13, its biggest ever game update. It launches today.

The headline addition is the Tournament Mode, a points based competition that has three reward tiers which grant special in-game weapons or items based on how well you've played. An item unlocked is available for use until the next tournament period.

You can buy into a tournament using tickets, and you'll always carry a balance of 10 tickets per tournament period. You can buy more from the PS Store. A tournament leaderboard will be added to the game to support this. A video explaining the Tournament system is below.

From 15th August new multiplayer DLC will launch as part of the PS Store updates. 137 pieces of content are unlocked either by earning in-game levels, completing treasure sets or by buying them from the PS Store. A video showcasing the new DLC is below.
