Three more for US VC
Shining Force, Devil's Crush.
Nintendo has added three more oldies to the US Virtual Console, led by the SEGA Mega Drive classic Shining Force.
This turn-based fantasy role-playing game follows the age old tradition of pitting you against immeasurable evil odds to save the world from doom - this time resembling a nasty fellow calling himself the Dark Dragon.
Combat takes part in a grid, experience points are earned, levels gained, and characters separated by class. It's considered a little easy by hardcore strategy RPG fans, mainly due to the lack of a Game Over mechanic, but also because you gain strength even if you lose a battle.

Next up is pinball game Devil's Crush, which originally made a name for itself on the TurboGrafx-16 in 1990. Its table is an impressive three screens high and has three matching sets of flippers, and the overall theme is spooky and devilish - with sorcerers and skeleton knights wandering aimlessly around.
The European TurboGrafx-16 listing page seems to think it's out here on Friday, so save up 600 points (GBP 4.20 / EUR 6) if you fancy a flip.
