THQ gets Steamy
Valve pals with another publisher.
Valve has announced a successful handshake with THQ, who will now offer its latest and greatest games on Steam.
Available to download already are excellent war-time strategy game Company of Heroes for USD 24.95; fantasy hack-'n'-slasher Titan Quest and recent Immortal Throne expansion - USD 17.95 each or USD 26.95 bundled together; and tactical shooter Full Spectrum Warrior plus sequel Ten Hammers - USD 8.95 each or USD 13.95 bundled together.
Expected on the digital distribution service soon are superb real-time strategy Supreme Commander, spooky nuclear shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, and acclaimed RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition with recent expansion Dark Crusade.
THQ is the second big name to sign on with Steam in recent months, following Eidos in March, which now offers a comprehensive catalogue.
