Microsoft's Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge has gone gold and will be appearing in "Only on Xbox" stamped packaging at a high street near you on October 31st. We're already sharpening our moustaches for dogfighting on Xbox Live.

Budding pilots will be able to enter combat for up to 16 players via System Link or, more realistically, over Xbox Live, with plenty of game modes to investigate, even if they'll all sound fairly to any multiplayer action gamers: Dogfight, Team Dogfight and Flag Heist lock propellers with Wild Chicken, Keep Away and Team Keep Away.

We look forward to getting our hands on Crimson Skies towards the end of the month, but it's picked a busy day for release, with F-Zero GX, FIFA 2004, Star Wars Galaxies, Worms 3D and Microsoft's own Voodoo Vince also due out on October 31st.
