EA's delightful new press extranet has been updated with various release dates for some of its key and most interesting Q1 titles - namely Final Fantasy X-2, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, The Sims 2 and Battlefield Vietnam.

According to the latest schedule, the warring PC twins will be released a week apart, with Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault first into the breach on March 19th, followed on the 26th by Battlefield Vietnam.

The Sims 2 (PC), meanwhile, will appear on March 19th, so expect the following week's chart to be something of a given, while we won't have much longer to wait for Square Enix's Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2), which is due out on February 13th.

Other EA titles given concrete dates in the update include Looney Tunes: Back In Action (PS2, Cube and GBA), NFL Street (PS2, Cube, Xbox) and SimCity 4 Deluxe (PC), all on January 30th, as well as Cricket 2004 (PC, PS2) on Feb 13th and the next James Bond game, Everything or Nothing, which appears a week later on February 20th (PS2, Cube, Xbox).

Elsewhere in Q1 EA expects to ship the likes of R: Racing (hugely disappointing in my view, by the way - PS2, Cube, Xbox), Spawn: Armageddon (PS2, Cube, Xbox) and Ultima X: Odyssey (PC), with Fight Night 2004 (PS2, Xbox), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (PS2, Xbox, Cube, PC, GBA, Spectrum +2, Binatone, etc) and The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-Earth (PC) due in Q2 2004.
