Namco Bandai has struck a long-term deal with Saban Brands to make Power Rangers videogames again.

Disney had owned the IP, but Saban - the original creator of Power Rangers - bought back the shiny and brightly coloured Spandex heroes recently.

"Power Rangers is one of the world's leading children's entertainment properties and we are delighted to see its return," said Haim Saban, owner of Saban Captial Group.

"We are also very proud and excited to renew our long-standing partnership with Namco/Bandai and know that this powerful combination of experience and capabilities will continue to support the global success of Power Rangers."

No specific Power Rangers games have been announced. We'll take a co-op beat-'em-up, please.

With peripherals like that, we're surprised it's not Activision doing the deal.
