Introducing Dicebreaker, a new hub for tabletop gaming

Live on YouTube now, website coming soon.

Update: Good news - the Dicebreaker website is now live. We hope you enjoy, and thank you for all your support and feedback so far!

Hello, Johnny here. It's been two months to the day since I left Eurogamer to start work on a secret project at Gamer Network, but finally I am delighted to say that not only is the project now out in the open, but as of today, it has officially launched!

It's called Dicebreaker, and it's a hub for all things tabletop - from board games and card games to miniatures, tabletop RPGs and even the odd bit of miniature painting. We're aiming to build a hub for tabletop gamers of all levels, from the curious newcomers to the dedicated hardcore.

If you visit the YouTube channel right now you can watch our very first review, our first Let's Play and an informative (read: daft) Q+A with yours truly and fellow video producer Wheels on what games we like most and what you can expect from Dicebreaker (below).

If the written word is more your thing, you'll have to sit tight for a little longer - the editorial team for the site itself is still being assembled, but rest assured it will launch in the next few months with all sorts of news, reviews and features for your information and entertainment.

For now, be sure to subscribe on YouTube and follow us on Twitter and Facebook! Also, keep an eye here on Eurogamer, where I'll be popping up with some tabletop recommendations in a regular column.

Speaking as a former Eurogamer staffer, I really hope you enjoy what we have to share with you - stepping away from the best job I've ever had was not easy, but hopefully you'll agree that it was a step worth taking. We're just getting started over on Dicebreaker but I honestly think we're building something pretty special and we'd love to have you along for the ride. Lots of love!
