Harry Potter For Kinect announced

Riddikulus.

With every Harry Potter book turned into a movie turned into a video game, publisher Warner Bros. will next use Kinect for a new Harry Potter tie-in.

The imaginatively titled Harry Potter For Kinect is due on Xbox 360 this autumn, and is being developed by Goldeneye 007: Reloaded developer Eurocom.

The game's story spans the entire Harry Potter saga, with various moments recreated for you to wave your arms and legs at. Players will be able to buy a wand, try on the sorting hat and battle Lord Voldemort.

"Harry Potter for Kinect will engage Harry Potter fans old and new by bringing them into the wizarding world as truly active participants," Warner Bros. exec Samantha Ryan said.

"Kids and parents will enjoy recreating their favourite Harry Potter adventures, from flying a broomstick in a Quidditch match, to battling pixies and duelling other wizards."

Various competitive mini-games are also planned, which will presumably please those who enjoyed prancing around in Kinect Star Wars's dance mode.
