Battlefield 3 Premium Edition announced, priced
Package includes premium sign-up, multiplayer welcome kit.
EA's confirmed that it's to release a Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, a bundle that packages together last year's shooter with a Premium subscription.
Due in September, the Premium Edition is also to include a multiplayer welcome kit that unlocks certain weapon kits and upgrades for newcomers to the game.
The Premium subscription costs £39.99 on its own, and EA's revealed that the Premium Edition will cost 59.99 EUR - which suggests a UK price point of £49.99.
The Premium subscription gives players access to the map packs that are inbound for Battlefield 3, among other things. Armoured Kill's the next pack in the schedule, promising the biggest maps the series has seen as it switches its focus to vehicle-based combat.
Armoured Kill's out on September 4, and next March Endgame introduces motorbikes to the Battlefield formula.
