Bungie hear my out, I know the ammo reserve is a soft topic rn but, I think I found a solution to the problem. What if you make the reserve mods fireteam wide, if 1 person has the mod it stacks on every one else but it only stacks up to three or if the people really want it -blam!- it let the six players stack to 6x ammo. To crazy that’s fair. Or sounds bad now that I think of it but if you are in proximity with the player that has the mod you get bonus reserves. I know the scary topic of forcing people to use certain weapons base of if it’s solar or void or whatever, but to be fair most boss damage phases everyone or the mass majority are using the same type already so what difference does it really make. You’re always gonna be using div or tractor or ghorn but everyone else would use the same whisper or still hunt, the same lament or void sword, the same apex or cold comfort, ya know what I mean.
