Pathfinder rework
Has been mentioned alot and you have even come out and stated you would fix the paths and that clearly hasn't happened.
There needs to be an individual path finder for each ritual activity that has absolutely no interaction with the other two. One for vanguard, one for gambit and one for crucible. This should have been the case from the beginning....

1 ReplyI currently have a node on the last part of the pathfinder called Maneuver Warfare where I have to get kills while my team has zone advantage in iron banner only control isn't available in iron banner this week so how exactly am I supposed to complete this node. For a matter of fact every pvp node wants me to play iron banner but it's that shitty supremacy meets gambit game that sucks and I have no interest in playing and because there is no way to shuffle the pathfinder to get a new one and I literally cannot complete it without doing iron banner I guess I just don't get anymore pathfinder completions this week, thanks bungie why the -blam!- should I keep playing this game. And while not related to this issue I'm a Titan main and you've continually proven how much you hate us, I'm so close to uninstalling again

If they don’t do separate pathfinders, then I just want bounties back. Im tired of completing a few nodes then finding out i need to play gambit or pvp to complete it. I thought we were supposed to be getting freedom in what we wanted to play? This is the exact opposite. I guess its freedom in the sense that we can choose to bother with pathfinder, or ignore it. For now, im just ignoring pathfinder nodes. If i complete it without trying, then cool.

1 ReplyNot now, this has to remain a problem for like at least half a year. After half a year they'll relent and do what they should have in the first place. Then, all the people will praise them for managing to stumble half-drunk across the development finish line.

3 RepliesEdited by Dooodley: 7/11/2024 8:44:26 PMIndividual pathfinders would have been ideal but I think the current problems with blocked paths will be over once IB is gone - they just screwed up by dumping IB nodes in the middle things, resulting in more crucible nodes than intended. On a different note, they really need to get rid the of Thrills of Victory (I believe thats the name). 20 freaking strikes, including NF's, to complete ONE node - and it's usually the node blocking the path from being completed. That's just too much. No, bounties were better. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how anyone at Bungie could think that this would give us more freedom. This is not only dictating how (use this weapon or that ability) we play but in the case of the PH pathfinder also where we play. I hate the dark places of PH, such as the Impass, but I keep getting sent there if I want to complete the damn thing. Speaking of which, there should be MM for every area of PH, not just the "MM of the day" option.

Or just make each node count toward whatever activity you are in. Like the ones with the stars that say vanguard, crucible, or gambit.

This should have been the case from the beginning....[/quote] Total bs, a while back when we could get bounties from the app it was an upgrade.pathfinder makes us have to keep looking back and forth to see if we did it ,remembered it right and we need to go to numerous modes to complete it,how the heck is this easier or better than how it was? Lmk ,I'm not understanding it. Old Daily player reduced to once in 2 weeks noticing nobody is on anymore,yay prismatic,the death of destiny

They straight up lied, I refuse to believe they are this incompetent. My first this week had 5 PvP & 1 gambit in the first section. My 2nd is totally blocked at the end by 4 PvP ones. Actively trying to push people to stop playing it seems

They should take the individual challenges from Pathfinder, divide them up among the vendors specific to each activity, and then let us just go pick which challenges we'd like to do from the specific activity. And then after completing a number of the challenges, say like....idk....8? then you get a reward! Would be pretty cool update IMO.

I think you should be able to collect individual nodes on the pathfinder map instead of having to match them up

Anyone else have theirs glitch this week? I completed the first one and then, after re-rolling it, gave me the exact same objectives in the exact same places.

The amount of crucible objectives since IB started has been ridiculous.Last week wasn't fun to clear pathfinders for pinnacles but this week with the awful tribute mode in IB I've given up trying to do them
