Exo class item? Seriously, Bungie?

The amount of time required to acquire a particular exo class item roll is completely unreasonable and impudent to most players! If you are really fast, you can get an exo class item every 15 minutes. As there are 64 combinations, that's 16 hours net. Add to that the chance to get duplicates, and you are easily at 24+ hours. Multiply by three if you have three characters of different classes. Now consider how mind numbingly boring a chest farm in the Pale Heart is. That is how Bungie generates player numbers and "game play"? Forcing people into an endless, dull grind to make them get a piece of gear they can create their dream build around, allowing them to tackle those activities in Destiny that are actually worth while? Who is even the target group for this crap? Teenage boys and uni students with too much time? Destiny is played by a lot of adults, who simply cannot afford such a grind - not to speak of being able to bear such an amount of abysmal boredom! What did you think when coming up with this half baked, unpolished, unfinished bollox, Bungie? Whoever designed and approved that particular gameplay mechanic (8x8 combinations, randomly rolled), was obviously acting brainlessly and can't compute numbers. It would be the least thing to not roll duplicates! Edit: I have farmed around 3500 chests now, yielding 35 unique hunter exo class items (plus a few for the warlock and titan). None of them is one of the few rolls I am looking for. I am getting an exo every 60 chests rather than every 50. That means that it can take around 100 hours of insanely dull, boring gameplay to get that perfect class item. Just for a single character class. That's beyond stupid, and invalidates exo class items for all players except those who can afford the time and bear such boredom, or who are very lucky. I cannot bring it over myself to farm chests in the Pale Heart for more than one or max. two hours per day, because it is so bloody boring. That means that I will have to farm for 50 days just for the hunter. Yes, you can live and play without exo class items, but what is their point then? Blessing the few who are lucky enough to not having to farm for them forever? That's bollox.

Wow. Exo isn't going to catch on. They're exotics. Since Exo is a class in D2, it's confusing at best. Add another wow for how insanely ridiculous this post and the droves like it are. You can get one exotic class item on average every 15ish minutes just going around opening chests. And somehow that STILL isn't simple enough for the TikTok generation and their instant gratification demands and 11 second attention spans. Unreal.

I really do feel sorry for you. I do have a question, How does bungie force you to grind anything be it a mission or any other activity? Please do explain because so far after many years of many players saying they are forced by bungie not one has been able to explain how but just about all have shown they either have issues or are ignorant about the words they use to express themselves. Edit: I just read you say something about abysmal boredom. That actually answers my question.
