Barely anyone's playing, try something new[/quote] Past battlegrounds are pretty much just multiple version s of the same strike and with higher add density. These new battleground are supposed to all be more unique, so they’ll essentially just be strikes with higher add density.

Battlegrounds have their place but after an entire season of running them for the rewards, I am perfectly fine tossing them in the "Content Vault" for a long time. Instead they want to throw them in the Vanguard Playlist to further dilute the Strikes all the while reworking old Strikes to be Battlegrounds. If it weren't for Bright Dust I wouldn't bother with that playlist. What they should do instead is to give multiple routes to Strikes if they are going to "rework" it, such as a path that is difficult but brief while another that is easy but tedious. That would certainly be a great change of pace and add extra replayability. Instead we get a "hurry up and wait" simulator while our Ghost hacks another door or have to dunk several whatchamacallits to lower an enemy shield for about 5 seconds, then do it all again in the next room.
