More Hunter buffs while Titans rot, perfect!
The new Artifact mods primarily revolve around Snipers, Solar, and Sniper damage. Really wondering who that’s catering to? Couldn’t be the already overwhelmingly agreed upon best class, surely not. Titans get a mention on.. Twilight Arsenal getting a damage buff? The least problematic part about their Prismatic kit? And Hammer of Sols damage buff? I mean the GM red bar goblins might actually die from a Super thrown Hammer now I guess.
Meanwhile in the stream we get sand thrown in our eyes as the Devs talk up Combo Blow Hunter. Really preaching what a lot of people wanted to hear.

No, I don’t think Titans are some bad, unsolvable mess. They’re just boring, and have really bad design choices. But they have a handful of builds that makes them usable in all content.
And I also don’t want Hunter nerfs. I just don’t think it’s a good idea to further juice their best dps rotation and the teaser for any Titan buffs is buffing something that’s not the problem at the moment.

45 RepliesSounds like you either don’t know how to play your class or don’t understand how to build craft… Titans are fine - they lack ranged damage super options so the twilight buff should help some. Does their prismatic aspects lack some synergy? Sure- could unbreakable be better? Sure All in all titans are still very good - maybe just not the best at everything anymore and that’s ok….

1 ReplyI haven’t struggled to go flawless on my hunter for a couple seasons now. But when I used to, all I needed to do was hop on my Titan and I would hit the lighthouse. It felt much easier. I think all the classes are fine. Some require more thought than others, but I certainly wouldn’t count Titans among that grouping. Good players will succeed with what they have and poor players will always complain about the “other classes” and how much better they are. You know you have the option to play any class, right?

10 RepliesTitans have so many good abilities. Overshields for free while getting damage reduction because resilience is tied in with the class ability, several ways to kill with one punch, barricades if things get too hard, broken supers, and so on

Edited by Zodleon: 7/11/2024 7:23:03 AMAnother point I think is pertinent, and is poorly communicated is titans aren't "bad" a titan can do similar damage to a mediocre still hunt hunter (most ppl aren't that optimal trust me, still hunt is just way overtuned.) and they have potent builds that do fine. But rn they don't bring anything to the table the other two classes don't and they lack build variety, unless you're a warlock bungie seems to be afraid of grenade builds, considering warlocks over the last two years maybe that's fair, it does significantly narrow the variety of builds though, making it feel like they can only build into melee options, which bungie seems to love to punish in end game content. I also think it's funny that Titans are like, "Another consecration build, oh joy." Meanwhile, hunters,"Oh boy, another combination blow build. WOOOOOO!"

25 RepliesThe issue isn't catering to Hunter. It's catering to streamers, most of which happen to be Hunters. Notice how meta the artifact is when Streamers get their hands on it. I miss the good ol' days before streamers ruined everything.

Titans have been overpowered for years before bungie finally nerf the bubbles. People had been saying they had to bring in the conditional finality into pvp cuz of bubbles and wells. 3 titans bubbles on one team had already ruined enough pvp. A bubble and a well had been used to win matches in trials. Those 2 subclasses had been around for years before the nerf and you’re asking hunters to be nerf immediately making them weak in both pvp and pve, especially pve where they felt more unwanted. Please stop the nerfing. The game isn’t more enjoyable when subclasses get nerfed by those who cried too much. You know bungie can’t balance everything perfectly for everyone.

6 RepliesHunters have still hunt+nighthawktuah Warlocks have euphony+apotheosis Titans have still hunt+apex+hazardous propulsion Each of those combos has really good damage output (warlock and titan on par with hunter) and is somewhat unique in execution The stillhunt buffs through artifact mods are questionable but as it is only seasonal it'll be temporary Also keep in mind that BoW titan was by far the best thing for an entire year. See this down phase as some sort of cooldown for last year

You know you can play any class you want… right? All of the classes are broken, in my opinion, but if one really sounds so much better, why put yourself at such a disadvantage by playing the “worst” class?
