Can yall like...acknowledge gambit's existence?
Not only has it seen no updates in who knows how long, the lack of balance is even more disgusting than in crucible. My team gets 30 motes in while the enemy is already killing the primeval.
Edit: Or just scrap it altogether and make crucible more stable

1 ReplyIt seemed fine as it is when I played. You get the occasional “I’m playing Gambit because the game makes me” but that should have been fixed with the Pathfinder update.

They technically did update it with new maps along with new factions like Shadow Legion and Lucent

3 RepliesIt needs party variants like Mayhem, relic (everyone spawns with random relics) prime slayer (no mote collecting, just 1st team to kill all 5 PEs wins) Also a hardcore mode with champions, modifiers, and -10 power but you can get adept Gambit weapons and unique gear for winning.

Give it new maps and it will come alive again. The mode as NEVER reacieved a map update and the maps as they are number 4. That is a very low number for any mode. Would you play pvp over and over if they only had 4 maps? Or strikes?

Good luck getting them to look that way. I wouldn't mind a lot more weapons or even armor to be added, but bungie simple ignores them. Just like the pvp, it gets ignored on balance and connections issues. But hey, at least they fix the bug that gives players more loot than attended.

Edited by whateverman7: 7/9/2024 6:13:44 PMThey acknowledged a while ago they aren't touching gambit anymore as far as balancing. That's one of the reasons they changed how we get ritual pinnacles. We got a new map and enemies, but that's about it. Also, they basically told the community to only play it if you like it. And you know what, that's been the best update they did to it lol. I'm serious too. Since they said that, I've gotten better teammates and matches while playing gambit, and it's been amazing. Team only banking 30 motes? That's a you issue lol. Get rid of it? Lol, how about no. It's a staple now and still the best activity in the game outside of raids and dungeons.

Didn’t they come out and say they were done supporting gambit? It sure feels like it Also, if your team has 30 motes while the opposing team has a primeval, that’s a skill issue

As an avid Gambit lover, I feel like Spongebob and Patrick in that one scene from the Spongebob movie where they’re lying down under the lamp and get all dried up and start dying from lack of Gambit content
