  • As others have said, the Name and Shame clause of the Code of Conduct is there to protect innocent players from witch hunts/harassment. Also, trying to publicly report someone here on the forums is useless as we Ninjas do not have the power to issue in-game bans, and Bungie's Security Response Team does not look at the forums for such reports. If you suspect cheating or another reportable offense, it's best to use the in-game report system. For those who want to take the extra step by submitting evidence or are unable to report them in-game, you may use the manual tool here: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049497451-Report-Suspected-Cheating With that said, if you would like to further discuss your post being removed, feel free to send me or any Ninja a private message. I will now lock this thread as posts about moderator action aren't allowed, either.

  • Because someone with a large following would be able to get hundreds or thousands of people to accuse you of cheating.

  • Because it leads to witch hunts of innocents as well. It's an issue games used to have and why so many now have a name and shame rule not just Bungie.
