Not sure if its because they transferred from the original DVDs or the software they used to convert it to HD. But if you don't mind the finer details getting blotchy or disappearing entirely in the background this is a great set.It's worth owning for fans of the original English cut of the show. As well as supporting physical media.

I was very happy to see that this dvd set still had its plastic film over it and it was undamaged. The art work on the cover is great to look at. The digimon series is awesome, my entire family enjoys watching it my kids really like it and it’s really nice to have something the kids can watch that is interesting for us all so everyone is pretty happy when digimon is picked for TV days.

I got the product just because I love digimon, and seeing it on blu-ray I got excited. I have the full season on regular dvd already, the dvds wasn’t scratch the fourth disk has a small scratch but not too deep and played fine, but the case is broken all along the top and one corner on the bottom and the paper cover and plastic holding got ripped and case cover is ripped too, so it looks like it got stepped on or ran over but mostly in good shape. The packaging was damaged at all

I'd have appreciated a digital edition as I have not had to wind or rewind any piece of media in well over a decade. But as a bluray, it's great, I'm really happy to have it. Can't wait for the second season to complete my collection!
